How Much is that Puppy?
It seems that some dog breeders prefer to avoid this question! And if you ask this before any other questions, they will delete you or not answer. Why? They feel that is all you care about. I have another perspective. No, wait…before getting on my case, listen to my counter-opinion. My time as a breeder is busy with sleepless nights and 24/7 work, especially when I have puppies. I want good homes that can care for and afford a puppy emotionally, physically, and financially.

Is it a good idea to visit a breeder in person?

You may sometimes hear liver or liver dogs being described as "dilutes." The liver is not technically dilution but just a different color of eumelanin. Dilution in dogs is controlled by a sep

Chihuahuas are cross bred with fennec foxes! – False Not only is this impossible on a genetic level, but just because they both are small with big ears does not make this accurate. Foxes and Canines can not reproduce. Chi

Natural Bobtail in Chihuahuas
Bobtails in chihuahuas has had a surprisingly negative response by what seems to be folks lacking any knowledge about the breed. I have read about how they are not purebred or some even more bizarre references all over social media and the internet. As a long-time breeder and owner of a DNA-tested bobtail, I have some insights. The natural bobtail found in the chihuahua breed has been present as we have written history about this breed.
