Nadja

Nadja is a blue merle smooth coat puppy, sired by Patrick and out of Chyna. She is staying with us as part of our next generation.

Still growing into herself, Nadja is bright, curious, and watchful, carrying the calm intelligence we love to see in a young female. Her blue merle coloring is one of the rarer combinations in the breed and a striking look on a smooth coat.

Health testing (OFA Heart, Patellas, and Eyes) will be completed at the appropriate age. We do not test or breed young dogs before they are ready.

Nouveau Theatre des Vampires

Nadja is named for the imperious, beautifully theatrical vampire matriarch of What We Do In The Shadows, the Staten Island household where four ancient vampires bicker, plot, and occasionally remember to feed.

Her registered name nods to the same world: the ostentatious Manhattan vampire opera house from the show, where the centuries-old creatures of the night gather to perform for one another.

A name for a girl with presence: theatrical, watchful, and impossible to ignore.

A note on health testing. Nadja is a young puppy. Her full health panel (OFA Heart, Patellas, and Eyes, along with the Embark DNA panel) will be completed at the appropriate age. This is the same testing battery every dog in our program completes before breeding.
